This website has been conceived as a means of communication concerning the activities of the Laboratorio di Antropologia del Mondo Antico, directed by Riccardo Di Donato and composed of undergraduate and graduate students in Greek Literature and Anthropology of the Ancient World at the University of Pisa.

The group’s research interests lie in ancient Greek civilization of the Archaic and Classical periods. Thanks to the digitalization of the Archives Louis Gernet and Jean-Pierre Vernant, our website gives all those interested the chance to freely browse these documents, which include both published and unpublished material.
